Indie developer Transolar Games announced their debut adventure game, Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption, is now available on Nintendo Switch ($19.99). Through Feb. 22, enjoy a 20% launch discount ($15.99).

In Hero-U you play as Shawn, an up and coming thief who becomes enrolled in Hero University thanks to a mysterious benefactor. At Hero-U Shawn can train to become a better rogue by taking classes, practicing skills, talking to classmates, and sneaking around after hours.

You’ll be able to befriend and romance your classmates while advancing the story of Shawn’s missing father, and exploring the catacombs beneath the school.

Hero-U is a hybrid of classic adventure game and RPG, designed by the husband-wife team of veteran developers Lori and Corey Cole, who helped create beloved Adventure games at Sierra such as Quest for Glory.

While Transolar Games is hopeful to create a series of Hero-U games focusing on different heroes and character classes, they’re currently working on a spin-off sequel called Summer Daze at Hero-U. It’s due later this summer on PC, Switch, and mobile devices.

Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption is rated T for Teen, with Fantasy Violence, Suggestive Themes, Alcohol, and Gambling. It’s also available on PC (Windows, Mac, Linux).
