XSEED Games announced that Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is releasing on March 23 for $49.99, and available now for digital pre-orders on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch. Watch the new gameplay trailer above.

XSEED also announced an Expansion Pass that can be purchased separately ($19.99), with a 15% early bird discount through April 12, or bundled with the base game ($69.99), with a 10% pre-order discount.  The Expansion Pass will include outfits inspired by previous games in the series, including Friends of Mineral Town and Trio of Towns.

All pre-orders will include the Buffalo Costume DLC, modeled after series mascot Buffy, which will also be available as a separate purchase at launch ($1.99). The Buffalo Costume is exclusive to the North American launch of the game (Europe gets a Fox Costume DLC).

Pioneers of Olive Town is the latest in the Story of Seasons farm life sim, formerly known as Harvest Moon. Olive Town features over 200 events and festivals while you work to clear the land, fix up old buildings, and customize your farm. With help from your farm you can upgrade your tools, expand your farm, and build up Olive Town’s economy and infrastructure. Seedling Mode returns for newer and younger farmers (and those wishing for a faster experience), lowering the price of items by 30% and decreasing stamina depletion by 50%.

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, and the Expansion Pass, will release on March 23 on Nintendo Switch. It’s rated E for Everyone.
