The eighth game in the stealth-shooter Hitman series, Hitman 3, is launching later this month on PC, PlayStation, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox. It will also support virtual reality through PSVR. Developer and Publisher IO Interactive released a gameplay trailer showcasing the world of Hitman 3 with PSVR.

The entire game will be playable in VR on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 (via backwards compatibility). In fact, the entire World of Assassination trilogy, beginning with Hitman (2016) and continuing with Hitman 2 (2018), will be playable in VR, by importing levels into Hitman 3. Any progression made in Hitman 2 will carry over when imported into Hitman 3.

Like previous games in the series, Hitman 3 stars the hair-challenged assassin Agent 47. You’ll visit exotic (and not so exotic) locations around the world in your quest to eliminate certain targets. Levels are designed as a playground of murder and mayhem as you can spring traps, wear disguises, and monitor guard patrols.

Hitman 3 will launch on January 20. A Deluxe Edition includes soundtracks, director commentary, and unique suits and items for Agent 47. Pre-order to get access to the Trinity Pack of colorful suits.

Hitman 3 is rated M for Mature.
