Today Nintendo presented their final Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase of the year. The nearly 20-minute video revealed a delayed release date for Bravely Default 2, announced cloud-based Switch ports for Control and Hitman 3, and launched a free demo of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, available now.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

We already know that the upcoming Hyrule Warriors game is a prequel to Breath of the Wild, showcasing the great war between the heroes of Hyrule and the forces of Calamity Ganon 100 years ago. A demo is available today, which includes all of chapter one. If you choose to purchase the game, save data will carry over to the full game.

Bravely Default 2

Bravely Default 2 is actually the third game in the RPG series that originally began on the Nintendo 3DS. The series closely resembles the Dragon Quest games, with classic tales of good vs evil, and an intricate job-based class system. Bravely continues the series signature chibi art style, but takes place in an entirely new world.

Immortals Fenyx Rising

The game once known as Gods & Monsters, Immortals Fenyx Rising is Ubisoft’s answer to the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, with a Greek Mythology theme. Fenyx is fully customizable (including gender), gaining weapons and godly powers as they explore the land and hunt Typhon, the legendary Titan.

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town

The latest in the farm sim series Story of Seasons (originally Harvest Moon) features, you guessed it – chopping trees, planting seeds, and schmoozing with townsfolk. Live your best farm life in the frontier town of Olive Town.

Griftlands

Yet another indie game with deckbuilding and card battling, Griftlands focuses more on story and role-playing, including your friends and your enemies, which determine your missions and your cards. Griftlands is currently available in Steam Early Access, with full release launching next year.

Tropico 6

The island-themed city building sim Tropico 6 is coming to Nintendo Switch. As El Presidente you’re in charge of your nation, which includes an entire archipelago. Take care of your citizens’ needs and maybe send a few agents out to steal some world monuments.

Hitman 3 – Cloud Version

Hitman 3 is coming to Switch with the Cloud Version. In the conclusion to the World of Assassination series, Agent 47 will embark on another globetrotting adventure to exotic places, meet interesting new people, and kill them in the cleverest ways possible.

Control Ultimate Edition – Cloud Version

One of the most critically acclaimed games of last year, Control, is now available on Nintendo Switch with the Cloud Version. Government agent Jesse Faden explores the supernatural surroundings of the Federal Bureau of Control in this story-driven third-person action game by Remedy Entertainment (Quantum Break).

No More Heroes 3

Travis Touchdown returns in another over-the-top action game in No More Heroes 3. This time, the action goes intergalactic as the mouthy assassin takes on aliens. If you’ve missed out on the previous games in the sequel, No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2 are now available on the Nintendo eShop for Switch.
