Paradox Interactive has released Crusader Kings 3 on PC (Steam, Paradox Store, Microsoft Store) in digital and physical versions, for $49.99.

Crusader Kings 3 is the latest entry in Paradox’s unique Grand Strategy genre of strategy games. Begin with a royal house in medieval Europe, Africa, Asia, and India. Govern your people, expand your culture, wage war, and engage in diplomacy, assassination, and arranged marriages.

The most important part is to grow your lineage into a successful dynasty that stands the test of time. Throw lavish weddings, court politically motivated partners, and dump meddling offspring to other countries to form future alliances. When all else fails, send assassins, gather blackmail, or raise an army to crush your enemies.

Crusader Kings is Paradox’s flagship franchise among many popular strategy series such as Europa Universalis and Stellaris. The developer is also known for producing dozens of paid DLC packs for years after launch. Stellaris released in 2016 and received its latest expansion pack earlier this year.

Crusader Kings 3 is available now on PC. It’s rated M for Mature.
