Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for upcoming DLC The Tale of a Timeless Tome for Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom. The DLC will launch on March 19 for PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4. It is the second DLC included in the Season Pass, or can be purchased separately for $14.99.

The Tale of a Timeless Tome adds new memories, fighting methods, and locations, including the new Solosseum Slog battle arena. The story opens when Evan and friends investigate a well-dressed rabbit who’s been appearing in people’s dreams. He falls asleep at the Goldpaw Inn and awakens in a dream world.

At the battle arena players can challenge strong enemies to earn new items. Players can also learn new methods. One of the new methods, Wizard’s Companion, should be a fun reference to the original Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.

“We at LEVEL-5 have been working hard the past several months on finalizing new content for Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom. Today we are excited to share that we will be releasing a new chapter for Ni no Kuni 2: The Tale of a Timeless Tome. Players will gain a deeper understanding of their favorite characters, journey through new areas, and much more. We appreciate our fans’ patience and will have more to share soon.”

The Tale of a Timelss Tome is the second paid DLC (third total) released for Ni No Kuni 2, following The Lair of the Lost Lord last December.

Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom released almost exactly one year ago on PC and PlayStation 4. It’s rated T for Teen with Fantasy Violence and Mild Blood.
