The game features an original story not based on any of the films and stars a new dragon-riding duo: Scribbler and Patch. The story will feature new locations as well as familiar places form the films, such as Havenholme and Valka’s Mountain. The duo will work to feat the new villain Eir, who can control dragons.

The anticipated third film in the series, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, will release in theaters on February 22, 2019.
