Kingdom Hearts 3 is one of the most anticipated games of 2019, and Square Enix knows it. This week Square Enix released a trailer of the opening movie. The trailer shows off the new EDM song “Face My Fears” by singer-songwriter Hikaru Utada and Grammy award winner Skrillex.

Skrillex, a long-time fan of the Kingdom Hearts series, shares a close friendship with Hikaru Utada. The song is going to be released on January 18, 2019, a bit before the game’s release on January 29.

The song “Face My Fears” can be pre-ordered now on iTunes. It’s also found on Spotify and Amazon. The cover art has also been revealed, drawn by Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura.

Hikaru Utada still holds the CD sales record from her debut album at age 15 from 1998. She released her 7th album in 2018, her 20th anniversary, and just wrapped up a domestic concert tour this month.

Kingdom Hearts 3 returns the heroic team-up of Keyblade wielder Sora with Donald and Goofy on a quest to save the world from the darkness. Our heroes will have to travel to several other Disney and Pixar worlds, including Big Hero 6, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tangled, and Toy Story, and team up with familiar faces.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is rated E10+ for Alcohol Reference and Fantasy Violence. It’s out Jan. 29, 2019 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
