Did you miss any of the many, many digital gaming sales over the holidays? PC gaming store GOG is offering another sale to celebrate the New Year. The New Year’s Resolutions sale features a mix of both old and new games. The sale ends January 15.
If you shopped at GOG (or Steam) over the holidays you won’t find any new deals here. Recent game sales include The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (50% off), Divinity: Original Sin 2 (10% off), We Are the Dwarves (90% off), Tyranny (60% off), and This War of Mine (80% off). Older classic titles include Psychonauts (90% off), Theme Hospital (75% off), and the Jagged Alliance series (75% off).
GOG recently posted a retrospective on 2017. They surpassed 2000 games in their digital catalog, with nearly 25% of that from 2017. It was a mix of acquiring classics like Jazz Jackrabbit and SWAT 4, as well as new releases of indie-ish games like Divinity: Original Sin 2 and Cuphead. GOG Galaxy, their optional Steam-like client, also moved out of beta and received several new additions, such as an in-game overlay.
Hopefully your New Year’s resolution wasn’t to buy less games. The GOG New Year’s Resolution sale ends January 15.
