A good chunk of us older gamers have kids. If you’re reading this site, odds are you probably do. Lots of game developers have kids too. And the developers at Bungie decided to pool their talents into something other than their game. That’s where D is for Destiny comes in.

What’s D is for Destiny? It’s an alphabet book that was originally created by Bungie artists and writers for the many parents who work at Bungie. But now they’re releasing the book to the general public. According to the Bungie Store listing, the “rhyming alphabet book takes young readers on a voyage through a universe of adventure.”

Every parent knows there are millions upon millions of alphabet books out there. Very few of them are actually cool. Perhaps D is for Destiny will buck that trend. The book is being officially released in October. You can place an order for the book now at Bungie’s online store.
