Starting this weekend at Silicon Valley Pride, MidBoss will be kicking things off for the upcoming GaymerX • Year 4 (GX4). Free tickets for GX4 will be available at SV Pride, so any interested attendees should be sure to stop by.

GaymerX is a convention that celebrates diversity and inclusion in the video game industry. This year’s GX includes an array of developers and industry names from companies like BioWare, Bethesda, and Gamasutra. Each of the speakers will touch on issues that affect the LGBTQ community and beyond, from accessibility in gaming to the progress the industry has made in the last three to five years.

On the showfloor, players can get a sneak peek of upcoming releases from developers like Blizzard and Oculus. GX4 will also give its attendees the chance to connect with other people and organizations in the LGBTQ community. Women in Games International (WIGI) and Lesbians Who Tech are just a few of the groups that will be represented at the convention. For those who need a break from the bustle of the expo hall, MAGFest will be hosting an arcade with a selection of classic games for players to enjoy.

GX4 will take place from September 30th to October 2nd at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara. Three-day passes can be purchased here for $65. All are welcome at the convention!
