After being hinted at last year, even more information seems to point that there will indeed be a BioShock Collection some time in the near future. According to IGN, the official 2K website posted some images and info, but quickly took it down. IGN managed to grab some screens before that happened.

Among the images is a piece of what appears to be concept art that connects the worlds of Rapture and Columbia via a tower in the ocean. Both BioShock and BioShock infinite open with a sequence in a tower and lighthouse, respectively. The image in the art piece is the tower from BioShock and not a lighthouse. But it’s possible that the two have actually been linked the entire time.

In addition to the information on the 2K website, the official BioShock twitter account posted “Welcome to Rapture! Would you kindly follow ?” earlier today. That account was created late last year and hadn’t tweeted anything until today.

There’s still no official announcement or confirmation by 2K, but the evidence seems to be heading in the direction of a confirmation and that it might happen very soon.
