Xbox engineering lead Mike Ybarra responded to queries about an Xbox error that has been causing video stutter in playback.

People have been tweeting at the official Xbox account asking why the problem is happening. “We’ll fix soon,” Ybarra said. “Sorry about this.”

These tweets were made on January 7 around 11:30 AM. Reportedly a fix has yet to come, as a mid-week Xbox update didn’t solve the problem.

As reported by Gamespot, “multiple people say they get random stuttering, lasting 1-3 seconds, during some Blu-ray video playback. The issue happens with some movies and not with others.”
