That was fast!
The second episode of Telltale’s Minecraft: Story Mode is out today on all platforms, and you can buy the physical disc in stores.
The disc-release of Minecraft: Story Mode will give you access to all five episodes of the game, as they become available. And I guess if you were waiting for the retail release, you’ve got a one-two punch of episodes to get through, eh? Here’s the launch trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 2, “Assembly Required.”
If everyone sounds really flabbergasted right now, it’s because Telltale usually takes a month or so between episodes at least. But hey, I’m not complaining.
If you missed our review of episode one of Minecraft: Story Mode, you can find it right here. I found it charming in parts, and tedious in others. All in all it felt like the first episode of a game, and I’m looking forward to finding out if episode 2 gets it right. The best thing about Minecraft: Story Mode is the great characters and your adorable pet pig Reuben. There’s a lot to love there.
Minecraft: Story Mode is rated E10+ and will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Android, iOS, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Microsoft Windows, and Mac OS. Phew.
