Starting in 2016, Pikachu stuffed animals will be an option in the Build-A-Bear Workshop.

Yes, I know, I am screaming too.

If you’ve never been to Build-A-Bear, it’s a pretty cool experience. You (I mean, your kids…) get the chance to “build” your own teddy bears based on templates. At the end you get to keep your creation.

Pikachu will be available in North America, Europe, Australia, and on Build-A-Bear’s website. Pokémon accessories will also be available. You can dress Pikachu up in a little Charizard outfit, or a Poké Ball hoodie if that’s your Pikachu’s style.

A limited edition Pokémon trading card also comes with your new best friend Pikachu. There’s no word yet on how much the Pikachu stuffed animal will cost.

Pokémon seems to be experiencing a second (third? fourth?) renaissance with the buzz over the upcoming Pokémon GO, not to mention Pokémon Shuffle coming to mobile phones and the Pokémon/Tekken mash-up (Pokken Tournament) coming out for the Wii U.
