Yesterday Minecraft developer Jens Bergensten tweeted some intriguing gameplay footage that caused a sensation. Why? Because you’re wearing a cool red cape and flying over a Minecraft landscape! Bergensten’s gif shows a very fluid flight with the new Minecraft flying cape.

In an upcoming PC update of the game’s Adventure Mode (1.9)—exact date still unnannounced—you’ll be able to find the cape. You won’t be able to craft it, however.   Here are a couple of Bergensten’s intriguing tweets:

The 1.9 update (again, no release date yet) appears be a large one, with a number of new combat features such as dual wielding.

Minecraft started as an open-world game in which the player mines resources and makes tools. Tools are used to cut blocks, mine more resources, and build. People have made amazing creations in Minecraft over the years. For instance, they’ve made to-scale models of monuments, real cities, and even the earth.

Microsoft bought Minecraft in 2014. Upcoming changes to Minecraft include the addition of a much-anticipated Story Mode.

Minecraft is one of the most popular video games ever created.
