It’s kind of a fantastic week over here as news rolls in from the Tokyo Game Show.

First up, we’ve got Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, the horrible name of a game which will conclude the compilation of the Kingdom Hearts series. This one has an HD version of Dream Drop Distance, a new movie that ties into Kingdom Hearts Chi, and a final playable episode that takes place after Birth By Sleep. No release date yet, but this will be the last release before Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out, some time before the heat death of the universe. Here’s the new trailer for that.

Minecraft Story Mode is coming out on October 13! So soon! For the first time in Telltale history, it’s also coming to retail. That version will be out on October 27. The first episode is called Order of the Stone. I got to play a bit of it at PAX, and I loved it. If you buy the physical version, you get a Season Pass that includes all 5 episodes. Read more about it here.

The Ace Attorney series is getting an anime adaptation in April 2016! We also got some previews of Ace Attorney 6, which is coming out in summer of 2016. They’re bringing it to North America, but it’s not yet confirmed whether it will be available here on release. That game is for the Nintendo 3DS, and takes Phoenix Wright out of Tokyo and into a place called Kulain, where he has to use spirit divination to solve murder mysteries. I’m hype.

Project Morpheus got renamed “PlayStation VR” this week. That’s Sony’s answer to virtual reality, and it will come out in the first half of 2016 for the PlayStation 4. Also a lot of the games for it look….creepy. See for yourself in my write-up.

The NCAA got in a little tiff with EA Sports this week over the presence of NCAA athletes in the upcoming FIFA 16. EA was a bit salty about it in their statement, but 13 of the women soccer players have been removed from the game so they can continue their collegiate athletic careers. Read more about it on Pixelkin.

Tearaway Unfolded came out this week, and I loved it. You can read my review at Pixelkin.org. Before you go, subscribe to this channel so you can get the news every week! Cheers.
