Lara Croft GO is now available on  iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Windows Phone, and in the Windows Store for $4.99, Square Enix Montreal announced today. The game is a follow-up to Hitman GO, based on the Hitman franchise.

“With Lara Croft GO, we set out to capture the iconic franchise’s sense of exploration and combat in a fun, accessible way, while still challenging players,” said Patrick Naud, Square Enix Montreal’s Head of Studio. “The result is a clever, distinctive gameplay experience that we think will resonate not only with fans of Lara Croft and the GO series, but with most mobile gamers in general.”

The game is described as a turn-based puzzle adventure with a story told over five chapters. Lara must thwart traps, explore tombs, and fight enemies as she uncovers the mystery of Queen Venom.
