Van Halen is joining Rock Band for the first time in Rock Band 4, Harmonix announced today. Van Halen’s iconic song “Panama” will be playable at launch, and more music from the band will be available for download in the Rock Band Music Store later on.

“For years we’ve wanted to bring Van Halen’s music to Rock Band,” said Harmonix CEO Steve Janiak. “Not only are the songs incredible in their own right, but they’re amazingly fun to play and perform, whether you’re on guitar, bass, drums, or vocals.” Van Halen has more than 75 million albums sold worldwide, and more No. 1 hits on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart than any other artist. They were also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2007.

The news comes in the wake of Van Halen’s recently remastered versions of their first six albums, on top of a completely new recorded live album called “Tokyo Dome Live In Concert.”  The band is currently on tour in North America.

You can find a full list of the Rock Band 4 songs available at launch here, with more being released all the time. There will also be more than 1,500 tracks available for download in the Rock Band Music Store.

Rock Band 4 will be available October 6, 2015 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
