We went years without so much as a peep about Kingdom Hearts III. Now that the release date is in sight (January 29), Square Enix is unleashing a barrage of news and trailers. During the PlayStation E3 2018 conference, we were treated to yet another trailer for Kingdom Hearts III, this time revealing the inclusion of Pirates of the Caribbean.

Many of the beloved main characters from the swashbuckling series are here, including Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, and Captain Barbossa. Naturally Sora and his persistent companions Donald and Goofy get some pirate-appropriate leathers to match.

The gameplay trailer shows off ship-to-ship combat with the infamous Black Pearl pirate ship. Sora and friends will also take the battle against the Heartless underwater.

A previous Kingdom Hearts III trailer shown during the Xbox conference revealed the inclusion of Frozen. Since the release of 2005’s Kingdom Hearts II, we have nearly a decade and a half of new Disney franchises to draw from (sadly, Moana is probably a bit too new).

As a PlayStation 4 exclusive, you can pick up the complete Kingdom Hearts series package bundled with a PlayStation 4 Pro. You can also snag the Kingdom Hearts gaming bundle as a separate bundle, for $99.99.

Kingdom Hearts III is out January 29, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
