Bandai Namco has announced the release of Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time today on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4.

Chamber of Time is a side-scrolling action-RPG based on the Netflix anime series, Little Witch Academia. The game features an original story in which series protagonist Akko accidentally creates a time loop in the school’s library, causing the same day to repeat again and again. Akko and her friends explore dungeons and cast spells around the Luna Nova Academy as they try to return things to normal.

Up to three friends can join together via online and local multiplayer. Six different characters are available to play, and like the series, the emphasis is on teamwork, friendship, and cooperation.

Exclusive cutscenes were made by Studio Trigger, the same anime studio that creates Little Witch Academia. The series originally began as a short film in 2013. A follow-up was released in 2015 after a successful Kickstarter campaign. It turned into a television series in 2017, with an English dub hitting Netflix later that year.

Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time is available now on PC and PlayStation 4. It’s rated T for Teen with Violence, Crude Humor, Partial Nudity, and Suggestive Themes.
