Bethesda showed an extensive amount of gameplay for Dishonored 2 during their E3 Media Briefing earlier this evening. The game features the ability to play as one of two characters, each with different abilities. The game is set 15 years after the events of the first game.

The demo showed off the gameplay of the character Emily. She has a number of creative powers that enable her to navigate the world and eliminate foes. Every one of her abilities can be upgraded to make them more powerful. Some of the coolest powers included the shadow walk, then enabled her to crawl along the floor in the form of a black ephemeral shadow and grab her enemies from below. Another cool feature was a device that enabled her to look at her surroundings in two separate timelines with the ability to jump between them to achieve her goals.

Arkane Studios, the makers of the game said they built a custom engine for the game that enabled them to accomplish the gameplay and visual aspects of the game. The representative who showed off the game said they wanted to make Dishonored 2 into a “painting in motion.”

Dishonored 2 is slated for release on November 11, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One
