Ravensburger is teaming up with Cinemark theaters in the United States to offer a special Moana Lorcana card to moviegoers. Patrons who purchase tickets for Moana 2 between December 6 and December 15 will receive a special Disney Lorcana promo card featuring the titular heroine, while supplies last.

The promo card, Moana: Adventurer of Land and Sea, doesn’t look all that special. It’s a 3-cost, inkable character with one strength and six willpower, making her a beefy defender, but she only quests for 1 lore, and doesn’t have any special abilities. The promo card is a Sapphire color with the Storyborn, Hero, and Princess traits, features a silver foil treatment.

The artwork is pretty great, though, featuring Moana in her new outfit from the movie. The card also serves as an early preview from a future Lorcana set.

It’s a shame the promo is only for Cinemark theaters, and it’s a double-shame that they didn’t do this for Moana 2’s opening weekend, where the animated sequel, along with Wicked and Gladiator 2, shattered Thanksgiving weekend box office records.

Disney Lorcana is a collectible trading card game, similar to Magic: The Gathering, but a bit more kid-friendly. Players take turns using cards as ink to play other cards, working to reach 20 lore before their opponents.

For newcomers, Ravensburger recently released the Disney Lorcana Gateway set, which includes two starter decks, four booster packs, and as well as mats and tokens.

Lorcana has a recommended age of 8+.
