LEGO enthusiast and store owner Steve Jensen (SteveDJ9999) has recreated Stardew Valley in LEGO bricks. The impressive set won the People’s Choice Award at BrickCon 2024, and is featured on LEGO YouTube channel Beyond the Brick (ab0ve), which includes an interview with Jensen.
The build features 75,000 pieces, and includes meticulous details of Pelican Town and the surrounding areas, including the broken-down community center, Linus’ yellow tent, the wizard’s tower, Jojamart, and the desert bus (desert not included!).

In fact, according to Jensen’s interview, the entire build started with a motorized bus. Jensen was inspired by motorized LEGO buses during a trip to LEGOLAND: “I built the bus and thought ‘Hey, why don’t I build the whole valley?’ And that’s where this madness started.”
Ironically, the magnet-motorized bus broken down the night before BrickCon, where the full town was displayed. But it’s only a tiny element in a hugely impressive LEGO build.
Each location in the beloved game is instantly recognizable. And the elevation changes are also impressive, and challenging to pull off with LEGO sets. A total of 68 base plates and “a lot of Duplo” are used to support the large surface area.
We also love the iconic Stardew Valley intro sign done in LEGO, which was built so Jensen could bring something from his work-in-progress build to BrickCon last year.
