Warner Bros. Games and Unbroken Studios have released Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions on PC (Steam, Epic), PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. A Switch edition is launching later this holiday season.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can download Quidditch Champions for free as part of this month’s free game downloads, through September 30. The game will remain in players’ libraries as long as they remain subscribers. PlayStation Plus players will also receive the Firebolt Supreme broom skin as a redeemable pack.
Quidditch Champions is a sports game that features the broom-flying aerial sport showcased in the books and films.
The game features a solo campaign through the biggest venues and stadiums of Quidditch, as well as cooperative and online matches.
Players can choose from iconic characters such as Harry, Ron, or Draco, or create their own custom witch or wizard. Additionally, players can choose which House they play for, and which position, including Beater, Chaser, or Keeper.
“The team is honored to launch Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions and finally share our take on the beloved sport of Quidditch,” said Paul Ohanian, CEO, Unbroken Studios. “We’re incredibly excited for players to take flight over our renditions of classic and never-before-seen Quidditch pitches, team up with friends in co-op and multiplayer, and experience all the wizarding world details we’ve poured into the game.”
Players who own Hogwarts Legacy and connect their WB Games account will unlock the Bonus Legacy Pack. The Bonus Legacy Pack includes the Moontrimmer Broom skin, and Sebastian Sallow as a playable character.
In addition to the standard edition, Quidditch Champions also comes in a Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Edition includes four House packs with themed skins and uniforms, and 2000 gold to unlock more in-game cosmetics. Note there are no microtransactions, all gold is earned in-game.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is out now, and will release on Switch later this year. It’s rated T for Teen.
