Nintendo has announced their Black Friday bundle for the Nintendo Switch. The bundle includes a full Nintendo Switch system, a digital version of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a three month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online, for $299 (normally the Switch itself is $299).
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an updated version of Mario Kart 8, which originally launched in 2014 on the Wii U where it became the system’s best-selling game. It’s still a fantastic racing game for all ages. The Deluxe version includes all DLC, including more racers and tracks.
Nintendo Switch Online is required to play Nintendo games online, similar to Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus. Other popular online Nintendo games include Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Splatoon 2, and Pokémon Sword and Shield.
Membership also includes digital access to a select library of NES and SNES games. A 3-month subscription is worth $7.99., or you can grab a year’s worth for $19.99. A family membership supports up to 8 online accounts for $34.99 per year.
Nintendo is also offering many of their first-party games for $20 off the usual price. That includes Super Mario Maker 2, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and Fire Emblem: Three Houses, for $39.99.
“When people are doing their holiday shopping this year, we want to provide them with an array of choices for spending family time together through the excitement and fun of Nintendo Switch,” said Nick Chavez, Senior VP, Nintendo of America. “Black Friday is the perfect opportunity for shoppers to gift themselves a Nintendo Switch system as well, with a new bundle that offers instant connection with Nintendo Switch Online, along with a full suite of offers on games in our software library.”
The Nintendo Switch Black Friday bundle will be available beginning November 22.
