Media Molecule has a released a free demo of their game-creating-and-playing software Dreams. The Trial and Unlock Demo is available now on the PlayStation Store. Until May 5, the full game is 25% off.

The demo features a rotating playlist of some of the best games that users have created within Dreams, including Cubric, Player Piano Player, and Great Job Human. The free demo also includes the first 20 minutes of Media Molecule’s showpiece music game, Art’s Dream, made entirely within Dreams.

If you purchase the full game, you’ll be able to continue Art’s Dream exactly where you left off. The full game includes the full suite of game creation tools (DreamShaping), as well as tutorials and classes to teach design skills. Thousands of games from users around the world can be shared and played through DreamSurfing. With companion site InDreams you can browse thousands of games and add them to your play queue.

Every week Media Molecule uploads and streams the DreamShaping creative mode via their Twitch and YouTube channels. A new series called “Dreaming With…” is debuting May 15, featuring interviews with game developers from studios like Naughty Dog, Insomniac, and Pixelopus.

Dreams is rated T for Teen, and available exclusively on PlayStation 4.
