Presumably to coincide with the release of the Sonic the Hedgehog feature film (Ben Schwartz, James Marsden), Sega and Nintendo are joining forces to offer a sale of over a dozen Sonic games for Switch, Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U.

Here’s the full list of discounted Sonic games:

Switch

  • Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 – $39.99 (33% off)
  • Team Sonic Racing – $19.99 (50% off)
  • Sonic Mania – $9.99 (50% off)
  • Sonic Forces – $9.99 (50% off)
  • Sonic the Hedgehog – $3.99 (50% off)

Nintendo 3DS

  • Sonic the Hedgehog – $2.99 (50% off)
  • Sonic the Hedgehog 2 – $2.99 (50% off)
  • Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal – $9.99 (50% off)
  • Sonic Lost World – $9.99 (50% off)

Wii U

  • Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric – $9.99 (50% off)
  • Sonic Lost World – $9.99 (50% off)

We heartily recommend 2017’s Sonic Mania as an excellent return-to-form (but still modern) 2D Sonic platformer, and last year’s Team Sonic Racing is a solid Mario Kart clone.

The Sonic sale ends Feb. 28 at 9 am Pacific/12 pm Eastern.

The sale is running alongside two other Switch publisher sales. The Ubisoft sale ends Feb. 24, and includes Mario + Rabbids, Assassin’s Creed, Just Dance, and South Park with discounts up to 75% off.

The NIS America Shining Stars sale runs through March 1, and features Ys VIII, SNK, and the Disgaea series.
