Capcom is running yet another gaming crossover event. For a limited time, Monster Hunter: World players can earn the classic assassin’s garb from Assassin’s Creed Origins. The event quest is available now on PS4 and XBO, and coming later to PC.

The Assassins’s Creed event adds two new pieces of gear: Bayek’s armor and the Assassin’s Hood tool. The armor is a layered item, meaning you can wear it as a pure cosmetic change over your existing gear without affecting your stats. The hood boosts your attack damage when approaching a monster while in stealth.

To earn the items you’ll need to complete the new 8-star event quest: SDF: Silent, Deadly, and Fierce. It’s an arena mission that forces you to fight both an Odogoron and a Deviljho at the same time. Defeat them and a Lunastra will arrive. Defeat all three to earn the special Senu’s Feather item, referencing Bayek’s eagle companion from Assassin’s Creed Origins. You can trade in two feathers for the new armor set.

You’ll need to be Hunter Rank 14 to attempt the event quest.

The event quest is available now through January 10. Event quests typically rotate in every so often, though this is a special licensed collaboration and may not return.

Capcom has been busy supporting its blockbuster hit throughout the year, with more content and updates to come in 2019. A special collaboration with CD Projeckt Red will bring The Witcher’s Geralt into the world of Monster Hunter – not just the armor but the actual character. Coming Fall 2019 is a large-scale expansion pack called Iceborne, which looks to add a whole new winter-themed zone full of beasts.

Monster Hunter: World made our holiday list of one of the best games of the year for 2018. It’s rated T for Teen.
