TwitchCon 2017 is taking place this weekend, October 20-22 in Long Beach, California. The gaming and streaming convention celebrates the community surrounding Twitch.tv. It will feature talent shows, cosplay contests, panels, workshops, a World of Warcraft art exhibit, and hundreds of Twitch streamers in attendance.
Tickets are available in 3-day and single day passes, and will be sold on-site. The 3-day and Saturday tickets include admission to the Dark Harbor Halloween event on and around the Queen Mary cruise ship on Saturday night. Click here for the full schedule of events.
The Keynote address will be hosted by Emmett Shear, CEO of Twitch, and popular streamer and esports commentator Marcus “djWHEAT” Graham.
TwitchCon 2017 has a recommended age of 13+, with a “mature-oriented environment.” Minors should be accompanied by an adult, while children under six do not require a badge.

Like PAX shows, the Expo Hall at TwitchCon will feature a large number of publishers and developers showing off new and upcoming games. Attending studios include Ubisoft, Blizzard Entertainment, Studio Wildcard, and the always popular presenter Devolver Digital. Indie games will also be available from developers like Finji and Versus Evil.
Esports is a big part of Twitch, and will have a major presence at TwitchCon, including an H1Z1 invitational tournament and a battle between streamers in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
New to TwitchCon 2017 is the TwitchPresents Stage, which features many popular live role-playing groups such as The “C” Team; Dice, Camera, Action!; and Maze Arcana. There’s also going to be a Bob Ross Paint-Along as a nod to one of the more surprisingly popular Twitch productions.
