One of the best things about any PAX is the number and quality of speakers and panels. That tradition is continuing this year. Amy Hennig one of the creators of the Uncharted franchise will be giving the keynote address at PAX West.
Uncharted is the thing Hennig is most famous for. She served as the creative director on the majority of those games, bringing storytelling to the forefront of games. Also Naughty Dog (the developer of Uncharted) Hennig worked on the Jak and Daxter franchise. Before than she worked on the Legacy of Kain games for Crystal Dynamics.
Hennig is heralded as one of the few developers who can create a good story along with excellent gameplay. She’s won two Writers Guild of America awards for Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3. Hennig is currently working on the upcoming Star Wars game, which is being developed by Visceral Games.
