You get an Oculus Rift! You get an Oculus Rift! Everyone who backed the Oculus Dev Kit 1 at the $275 level (or higher) on Kickstarter gets an Oculus Rift!

Oculus announced in a Kickstarter post that all those early backers who donated enough to get a prototype headset will get a free Kickstarter Edition of the finalized Oculus Rift. They’ll also get the Rift’s pre-order games: 3D-platformer Lucky’s Tale and space dogfighting game EVE: Valkyrie.

Oculus Rift’s Kickstarter raised almost $2.5 million back in 2012. Preorders for the final version will open January 6 at 8 a.m. PST.

“You were there at the beginning of our journey,” the Oculus founders wrote, “we couldn’t have done it without you.”

That being said, if you backed the Oculus at those levels but don’t live in one of the 20 countries where it’s coming out, then you’ll have to settle for whatever substitute reward Oculus Rift comes up with.
