The Batman Arkham Knight series might be coming to an end soon. According to Rocksteady Studios, the Season of Infamy is the final DLC pack for the Arkham series. It’s slated to be released on December 22.
The DLC pack will bring more “Most Wanted” missions featuring Killer Croc, Mister Freeze, Mad Hatter, and Ra’s Al Ghul. And what’s a DLC pack with some new clothes, right? There will also be a costume based on the film version of The Dark Knight along with a Batmobile of the same style. If you bought the Season Pass, this DLC is included.
The games are a bit less dark than the “Dark Knight” films and more like the comic books than the recent “Dark Knight” movies, with action-adventure gameplay that’s a mix of sneaking, detective work, and brawling. The most recent Arkham game is Batman: Arkham Knight, a popular title that featured a pumped-up and prominent version of the Batmobile. The games in the series include Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, and Batman: Arkham Knight. Most of the games with the exception of Origins were developed by Rocksteady Studios. Rocksteady’s studio head Sefton Hill said in one of the developers “Insider Videos” that Rocksteady is done making Batman games. What that means for the overall future of Batman games is up in the air.
