According to Gematsu, PEGI—the European version of the ESRB—listed ratings for the PlayStation 4 versions of a handful of classic PlayStation 2 games recently. Though those listings have since been taken off PEGI’s website, it’s possible that this means that PlayStation 4 will be getting PlayStation 2 games in the future.

The news comes in the wake of Microsoft’s pushing out backwards compatibility for Xbox One, which should arrive this November with the New Xbox One Experience. While Sony has said that they don’t intend to bring backwards compatibility to PlayStation 4, Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony Computer Entertainment, mentioned that he wasn’t ruling it out when he spoke with Polygon this year at E3. (While backwards compatibility may not be in the plans for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Now does allow users to rent PS3 games, and is available on both PS3 and PS4 consoles.)

The games listed on PEGI’s ratings site are Ape Escape 2, Dark Cloud 2, and Twisted Metal: Black.
