A port of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It was originally planned for holiday 2015, according to the June announcement from the Workshop, who is handling the port. The current-gen versions of the game will cost $5 more than their PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 counterparts, however: $19.99 each.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, developed by Starbreeze Studios (though the game was purchased by 505 Games earlier this year), originally debuted in 2013. Players control two brothers, one younger and one older, as they go on a quest to help their ailing father. One hand controls the younger brother and the other controls the older. They have to work together to solve puzzles as they traverse a rugged fantasy landscape. Neither brother speaks in a language we can understand, but the bond they share is understood nonetheless. It’s a game with a story that will stick with you, as well as interesting, meaningful gameplay mechanics and gorgeous graphics and music.Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons screenshot

The game won many awards when it was released in 2013. It made Mashable’s Top 10 and Polygon’s Best Games of 2013, and won a BAFTA for best family games of 2014.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is rated T for Teen for blood and violence. The violence is extremely minimal, however, and never gratuitous.
