Happy Broccoli Games have released adventure sequel Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping on Steam PC, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox.
The Ghost of Glamping is a stand-alone sequel to last year’s break-out indie hit, Duck Detective: The Secret Salami. The sequel pits hard-broiled, recently divorced detective Eugene McQuacklin with a new mystery at a luxury campsite. Is it truly haunted? Or is it more of a Scooby Doo situation?
As with the Secret Salami, players must examine the areas, interview suspects, gather clues, and solve puzzles to uncover the mystery. The Duck Detective games feature a fun, paper cut-out art style, and full voice acting. The sequel also adds a new sidekick character, who I’m sure plays well with our lead.
The blend of narrative and mystery is described as Aggretsuko meets Return of the Obra Dinn.
The indie studio playfully warns that the Duck Detective games are short, lasting only a few hours. But the overall quality is pretty darn high, judging by the Overwhelmingly Positive rating for the first game on Steam.
If you missed the first Duck Detective, you can grab it for 30% off through June 4. The Secret Salami is also officially available on PlayStation 5.
The Duck Detective series is rated E for Everyone.
