Humble has released its 2024 Social Impact Report. The report reveals how the digital gaming store spent donations through its popular Humble Bundles, including raising over $12 million for 4,500 charities.
Throughout the year, Humble supported mental health initiatives through groups such as Safe In Our World, Crisis Text Line, and Take This. To help empower women and diversity within the gaming industry, they collaborated with Girls Make Games, Xperience Studios, and The ESA Foundation.
In addition to gaming bundles, Humble often creates bundles featuring digital books, RPG rulebooks, and comics. Many of their charitable donations go to literacy, bookstores, schools, and learning groups, including The Book Industry Charitable Foundation, Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, the National Coalition Against Censorship, and It Gets Better.
Coding bundles are also common, and so too are the collaborations, including Code for America, Girls Who Code, and The Electronic Frontier Foundation.
Disaster relief is always needed, and 2024 was certainly no exception. Humble dedicated over $1 million to disaster-relief groups, including Direct Relief. In 2024, Humble partnered with Direct Relief to create a Humble Forward Fund, essentially raising money for future needs. For example, over $200k was raised in December, which was then used in January 2025 to help support relief during the Los Angeles fires.
At Humble, we’re as committed as ever to doing our part, but it’s also clear as ever that no matter what we might be able to achieve on our own, we can always achieve more together with our community. It’s all thanks to our community that we were able to help provide meals and medical aid in the wake of natural disasters, provide access to books and high-quality education to people from underrepresented groups around the world, provide equipment and training to revitalize farms and coastal areas devastated by climate change, and much more. […]
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this effort last year, our charity partners, our industry peers, and our Humble community. We’re looking forward to continuing to raise our bar for doing good, together with you, in 2025 and beyond.
Current Humble Bundles include “id & Friends” featuring Doom and Wolfenstein games, with support for Direct Relief, and a nice collection of indie games in Armor Games Bundle, which supports Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
