Annapurna Interactive and indie developer Ivy road have released Wanderstop on Steam PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S ($24.99).

Wanderstop is a cozy, 3D life sim and shop sim. Alta is a former adventurer running a tea shop in a magical forest. Players will grow their own ingredients, mix them up, and serve that right tea for passing travelers.

During downtime, Alta can clean and decorate the shop, or simply relax.

But Alta chafes at the relaxing atmosphere and monotony of running a shop. She yearns to return for adventure, and wants to put the entire shop experience behind her.

Alta’s attitude, and the overall focus on narrative, introspection, and growth, is what separates Wanderstop from other cozy sim games. Perhaps not so cozy after all?

Although Ivy Road is a new studio (and Wanderstop their debut title), the team has some serious indie pedigree, including co-founders Davey Wreden (The Stanley Parable), Karla Zimonja (Gone Home) and C418 (Minecraft).

Wanderstop is available now on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. It’s rated T for Teen with Fantasy Violence, Mild Blood, and Mild Language.
