Charity organization Safe In Our World announced the finalists for the upcoming Game Dev Champions Awards Showcase, premiering Saturday, December 7 on YouTube.

The Awards Showcase highlights the Mental Health Game Dev Champions game jam from earlier this year. The event, hosted by Safe In Our World, encouraged new developments to participate, and provided classes teaching game development as well as development tools.

“We’re incredibly proud of everybody who got involved. From the game jammers all the way to sponsors like Xbox and Discord,” said Sarah Sorrell, Charity Director, Safe In Our World. “Your creativity and passion has shown us how games can be an important vehicle to tackle the often underrepresented subject of mental health.”
