Developer Always Blue Games announced that virtual karaoke game Songbird will release on December 5, exclusively for VR platform Meta Quest. It’s currently available for preorder for 20% off on the Meta Quest store.
Songbird features Performance, Rehearsal, and Quick Play modes, and eschews concerts in favor of natural landscapes. The world of Nestopia literally comes to life as players sing in a variety of biomes and settings.
The set list includes 33 licensed tracks, with more song packs to come starting in early 2025:

The new note-tracking interface helps players improve their vocals, with phase training and three difficulty levels, while players can focus on their performance and visuals of the virtual world.
Always Blue Games’ founder and director Marcus Henderson is best known for recording the guitar parts for the Guitar Hero series.

Karaoke game Songbird will be available for Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 2, and Meta Quest Pro, with no other equipment needed.
