Midwest Games and developer 1 Simple Game have brought indie award-winning puzzle game The Lullaby of Life to Switch and Xbox consoles (it’s also available on PC).

Described as a “musical puzzle adventure,” The Lullaby of Life stars Bombo, a cute little amoeba/germ thing. Bombo helps create life and harmony in the universe through music. It looks like that early stage of Spore, but with more music and less eat-or-be-eaten.

By gathering musical creatures called Ohmies, Bombo can use music to solve puzzles and create new, more complex melodies. Awaken Dormant Elder beings at the end of each level to unlock the secrets of the universe.

It’s all very chill, but players can also engage in challenge modes to take their musical timing and focus to the limit.

“Today, Midwest Games celebrates our first console launch alongside our valued partners at 1 Simple Game,” said Ben Kvalo, CEO and Founder, Midwest Games. “The Lullaby of Life is a beautiful ideation of life’s beginnings coupled with relaxing, yet challenging adventures. We hope console gamers will fall in love with Bombo’s developing world as much as we have with its launch on Xbox and Nintendo Switch today.”

The Lullaby of Life is available now on PC, Switch, and Xbox consoles ($14.99). It’s rated E for Everyone.
