Command of Nature

unstable gamesAge: 10+
Players: 2 or 4 players
MSRP: $20.00
Release: Available everywhere

Players take on the role of one of four elemental sages and face off in this deckbuilding battle game. Each element has its own starting cards and special abilities. Players customize their decks further by purchasing cards in the market: command cards to attack and defend, and more cutesy elementals to summon. The goal is to defeat your opponent’s army, and ultimately their sage.

Command of Nature is designed for 1v1 matchups, but four players can play a special 2v2 team variant. Read our full review!

Fishy Squishy Crusty Quirky

unstable gamesAge: 8+
Players: 2-6 players
MSRP: $15.00
Release: Exclusively at Barnes & Noble, wider retail in Jan. 2025

Fishy Squishy Crusty Quirky refers to the four types of ingredients players need to catch in order to prepare meals and earn victory points. Every round players draft fishers and fish for ingredients. Some catches are visible, while others are hidden — but not to your opponents. Players can steal ingredients as they race to fulfill orders for the most points.

Garden Variety

Age: 7+
Players: 2-5 players
MSRP: $8.00
Release: Available everywhere

Garden Variety expands on the simple card game War by introducing a random dice. Each round players roll the dice to determine which played card wins the trick, using numbers and suits. A handful of mischievous gnomes add a bit of chaos and strategy to the fast-paced card game.
