My 12 year old has been absolutely obsessed with Pokémon Horizons: The Series, the new Pokémon animated show that finally moves beyond Ash Ketchum and friends with all-new characters, and a setting around the Paldea Region.
A tie-in with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which introduced the Paldea Region, is pretty obvious!
The Pokémon Company has announced that Scarlet and Violet players can add series protagonist Liko’s signature starting Pokémon Sprigatito to their game, via the Mystery Gift system.
To claim the special Pokémon, follow the steps below:
- Select Poké Portal from the in-game menu.
- Choose Mystery Gift, and select the option to Get with Code/Password. You will need an internet connection.
- Enter the password: L1K0W1TH906
- Sprigatito will arrive to your party, or your next available Pokémon Box. Be sure to save your game before closing!
By giving Sprigatito a rare Partner Ribbon, it will be given the unique title “Liko’s Sprigatito” when chosen to battle. Partner Ribbons are acquired by trading Pokémon with special coaches in The Indigo Disk DLC.
The special Sprigatito offer expires September 30. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available exclusively on Nintendo Switch, and rated E for Everyone.
