Women in Games will host a Careers, Development, & Networking Expo on Thursday, March 8th, the day before International Women’s Day. The expo is entirely virtual via Hopin, and free to register and attend.

This year’s expo theme is Making Meaningful Change. Speakers and panels will share their stories of tangible changes in their workplaces, and over their personal careers.

The virtual expo area will feature booths hosted by content partners, who can provide Q&A talks, presentations, portfolio reviews, and more.

Registering allows attendees to set up meetings with delegates to learn about career opportunities and success stories.

Speakers include Emma Varjo (Design Manager, Redhill Games), Helen Bower (Head of Voiceover, PitStop Productions), Mai West (PA to Senior Leadership Team) and Marie-Claire Isaaman (CEO, Women in Games).

“The Women in Games Careers, Development & Networking Expo will address challenges head-on and explore opportunities, providing support and guidance to individuals affected by redundancies, and offering studios who wish to expand their teams a platform to connect with a wide and diverse range of potential employees,” said Isaaman.

“At the same time, in our Year of Action at Women in Games, we will not rest until women and girls are given equal opportunities and representation across the games industry, and are safe online, in the workplace and at in-person events. Together, we are stronger, and together, we can bring about real change.”

Women in Games is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2009 in the UK. The org works to achieve gender equity and parity in the gaming industry, particularly in leadership and executive roles.
