If you have children, Bluey needs no introduction. The Australian animated kids show is available on Disney Junior and Disney Plus in the US, and has proved mega-popular among preschool-age children for its accurate and humorous depiction of young siblings and modern family life.

Outright Games and BBC Studios have announced Bluey: The Videogame, a sandbox adventure based on the series. Bluey: The Videogame will release on PC, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox on November 17.

Bluey stars the titular blue heeler dog, who lives with her younger sister and parents.

The game presents an interactive sandbox filled with minigames, mimicking Bluey’s penchant for playing. Up to four players can play as each member of the family. Episodic gameplay is inspired by moments from the show, as well as a new four-part storyline written for the game.

Completing activities earns costumes, stickers, and additional playable episodes.

The game features the series’ original voice actors and soundtrack, along with new music tracks created by composer Joff Bush.

Multiple difficulty settings, tutorial narration, and on-screen instructions help make the game accessible for younger gamers.

“We’re incredibly excited to be working with BBC Studios as a brand-new licensing partner for Outright Games and to help expand the phenomenal world of Bluey into video games,” said Stephanie Malham, COO, Outright Games. “It is always our goal to create games that can act as an entry point to the world of video games and to some of the most important entertainment franchises on the planet like Bluey. It’s a thrill for us to bring Bluey’s world to life with a level of interactivity that has never been seen before and by ensuring that the game is accessible and enjoyable for all ages we know fans across the globe will be delighted.”

Bluey: The Videogame is rated E for Everyone.
