It’s a good time to be the world’s most famous doll. Following the incredible success of the Barbie film, Mattel, along with Budge Studios and Nighthawk Interactive, are bringing mobile app Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures to Nintendo Switch this October.

Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures is a family-friendly, all-ages game that’s similar to The Sims, with a bunch of mini-games. Explore Malibu Beach, cook meals, decorate your house, and dress up Barbie and all her friends and family.

The game is based on the successful Netflix animated series of the same name, which aired five seasons between 2018 and 2020, and spawned several animated films.

The series (and game) features an expanded cast of characters that includes Barbie’s sisters Stacie, Chelsea, and Skipper, Barbie’s parents, and Barbie’s friends Ken, Teresa, Nikki, and Renee.

The mobile app is free-to-download with in-app purchases and a subscription, but the upcoming Switch release will set you back $39.99, and presumably have everything unlocked. At least, it better!

The mobile app is available on iOS, Android, and Amazon mobile devices.

Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures will release on October 27 on Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders are available now. It’s rated E for Everyone.
