Ubisoft revealed post-launch DLC plans for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. The DLC will launch in three waves throughout 2023, and is included in the season pass, which itself is included in the Gold Edition ($89.99).
The DLC wave will be exclusive to the season pass, and add the “Tower of Doooom.” The multi-dimensional tower is an all new combat-focused game mode. I’m guessing it’s a roguelike mode as you battle increasingly challenging battles while ascending the tower. Tower of Doooom will release in Early 2023.
The second DLC release will add a new planet to explore. The planet will feature new environments, enemies, characters, and secrets. The teaser image looks like a jungle planet, with an evil Rabbid villain. It’s coming mid 2023.
The final season pass DLC pack adds a new playable character to the game: Ubisoft’s own Rayman. The DLC will feature Rayman joining forces with Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Peach as they explore “a new and mysterious place.” This final DLC pack will launch late 2023.
The Tower of Doooom will be exclusive to season pass owners. The other two DLC packs will be available for purchase separately.
Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is available exclusively on Nintendo Switch. It’s rated E10+ with Cartoon Violence.
