XSeed Games announced that last year’s lovely farming sim Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, will release on PlayStation 4 this summer. It will be available in physical and digital versions for $39.99.

As a new farmer-in-training to Olive Town, you’ll carry on your grandfather’s legacy by farming, fishing, raising livestock, crafting furniture and equipment, and upgrading your farm. Gather resources around the area, and discover magical Earth Sprites in hidden places. Level up and unlock new equipment and upgrades, including sprinklers and auto feeders.

The titular town is home to dozens of residents. Develop friendly relationships, and get married. The town includes over 200 unique events throughout the seasons.

Story of Seasons, once known as Harvest Moon, is beloved for being the original farming life sim series. The classic gameplay has inspired countless other games in the genre, including Stardew Valley.

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town will launch on the PlayStation 4 this summer. It’s also available on PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch. It’s rated E for Everyone.

An Expansion Pass is available for $19.99, which adds new outfits and sub-scenarios.
