During the Capcom Pro Tour 2021 Season Final, Capcom officially announced Street Fighter 6 with a teaser trailer. The teaser shows steamy, sweaty, shirtless veteran Ryu preparing to fight newcomer Luke, the final (and 45th!) character added to Street Fighter 5’s roster.

No release date has been announced, with Capcom only confirming that “Street Fighter 6 is now in development.” More details will arrive this summer.

Capcom also announced the Capcom Fighting Collection. Capcom Fighting Collection features 10 classic arcade fighting games, including Hyper Street Fighter 2 and all five Darkstalkers games. I didn’t even know there were five Darkstalkers games! It’s the first time all five are available outside of Japan, and the first time Red Earth has been available on home consoles.

Here is the full list of games in the collection:

  • Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
  • Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
  • Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire
  • Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
  • Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire
  • Red Earth
  • Hyper Street Fighter 2: Anniversary Edition
  • Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Trubo
  • Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
  • Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness

The collection offers casual, ranked, and custom matches, and supports online multiplayer across all 10 games. Modern improvements include quick save, button remapping, and CPU difficulty settings. Also included is an in-game museum of over 500 pieces of artwork, design documents, and a music player with over 400 songs, as well as display filters.

Capcom Fighting Collection will release on June 24 for PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One ($39.99).
