After being delayed last year, Natsume has released the latest, and largest, entry in the farm sim series. Harvest Moon: One World is now available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, for $49.99.
“Harvest Moon: One World is our largest Harvest Moon game yet,” said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO, Natsume. “With five different lands inspired by real life places, mystical Harvest Wisps, innovative tools that help you quickly travel and take your barn with you, and new rare and exotic animals, this is truly a new world for players to explore. Players will ride camels across the deserts of Pastilla, venture deep into the snowy mountains of Salmiakki, and even visit a volcano near the cozy mountain town of Lebkuchen!”
The Harvest Goddess has gone missing from this world, but left behind Harvest Wisps. By collecting these wisps, you can unlock the knowledge to plant fruits and vegetables. Wisps are scattered throughout the world, which includes beaches, deserts, and snowy mountains.
In addition to crops, you can raise farm animals like cows, sheep, and goats, and even more exotic animals like reindeer. You can choose between a male or female character and romance five different bachelors and bachelorettes, each with their own personality and stories.
Harvest Moon: One World is rated E for Everyone.
